About Us
We are a Montessori Hifz Nursery.
What does this mean?
Our nursery is unique because we offer a Montessori Education (based on England's EYFS framework), it is delivered by British trained teachers with decades of teaching experience. We also offer a rigorous Hifz and Arabic programme taught by trained huffaz and specialist Arabic teachers from England.
Our classes are delivered in the English language by ex-pats (all qualified to teach) who have relocated to Pakistan. Therefore, this is the perfect place for your children to pick up strong command over the English language and the English accent.
Currently we are offering two levels:
(with plans to take our students through to Primary and Secondary schooling eventually, inshaAllah!)

EYFS means The Early Years Foundation Stage, this is the statutory framework for early years education in England, we follow this closely ensuring your children receive an internationally recognised educational experience.

Most of The Oxford Nursery's faculty were born and educated in the UK (Oxford/London). The UK is also where they received Montessori teacher training and gained extensive teaching experience. Our professional and enthusiastic team of expats have now moved to Pakistan and are looking forward to sharing British educational standards and methodology with your children!

What is Montessori Education?
Montessori education is a child-centred, experiential approach to learning developed by the revolutionary Dr. Maria Montessori. It emphasises hands-on learning, independent exploration, and self-directed activities in a carefully prepared environment. Rather than traditional teaching methods, Montessori emphasises children's natural interests and their ability to learn through discovery.
What is the link between Islam and Montessori Education?
Montessori philosophy echoes Islam's focus on learning through reality by leading the child to understand his or her place in the "cosmos". It also resonates with Islam's focus on developing the innate human inclination to virtue and intellect. Fitra is an Arabic term that means the innate and beautiful essence of the human being that seeks virtue and is in harmony with the natural and spiritual world.
In the Islamic world view, each baby is born on the pure fitra. Further Islamic teachings are meant to be compatible with the fitra and are designed to cultivate it to a character of excellence. To match human nature, Islam provides a "middle way": both balanced and moderate. At our Nursery, we aim to educate your children in a holistic manner that nurtures the fitrah. Our aim is to help you raise high achievers who are also gentle and pious citizens of the world. InshaAllah!

Our fees are high, that’s because the Oxford Montessori Hifz Nursery offers exceptionally unique experiences and opportunities.

While we don't provide full meals, we ensure a healthy environment with organic snacks. Our morning Tarbiyyah session concludes with fresh organic milk from Islamabad farms. Students bring their own meals (no junk food or sugary drinks allowed).
